[Originating from Asia, daikon (pronounced “dye-con”) is the Japanese word for radish.] Juicy and flavorful, can be used fresh in salads, cooked in vegetable dishes, pickled, used in kimchi, or grated and mixed with ginger and soy sauce to make a dip. Usually harvested when 12 in. long and 2-3 in. in diameter, though it will grow much larger! approximately 600 seeds
