Button Rattlesnake Master (Eryngium yuccifolium) is a unique member of the Carrot or Parsley Family. This robust perennial resembles a desert plant and is often compared to a yucca and grows best in sunny sites with average well drained soil. It grows from a thickened, corm-like crown. When not flowering, the plant forms a rosette of long, narrow, fibrous leaves, sometimes reaching up to 30 inches in length, but usually less.
