Florida Mountain Mint ( Pycnanthemum floridanum): This perennial mint species grows up to several feet tall. The tips turn into a silvery white bract. The flowers are white with pink/purple spots. Very similar to dotted horsemint, but the scent is more similar to a spearmint. The flowers bloom summer to fall. Native to Georgia and Florida south to Hernando county. This species attracts many species of bees and butterflies.
