Cheirosa is a very interesting pepper from Brazil. This is a sweet pepper with mild hotness that can vary. For many people, this pepper will be too hot to eat as a fresh snack. We have found that when cooked it is an appropriate level of spice that we can use it liberally as a vegetable in the dish. Plants survive nearly a year before beginning to decline, producing peppers through the steamy Florida summer.
