One of the sweetest and most delicious carambola varieties, ‘Kari’ is a highly productive tree that stays fairly small and can be maintained and successfully fruited in a pot. The star-shaped fruit has crisp, juicy, yellow flesh that can be eaten fresh, made into juice or dried. The fruit is about 6” long and borne in clusters on the tree. Small pink flowers appear in spring and fall and ‘Kari’ usually produces two crops a year, in summer and winter.
