Join us as we transform Florida gardens into flourishing havens of beauty and abundance. Enroll now for an enriching experience in the art and science of growing food.

We are offering this course on a sliding price scale so that everyone is able to access this resource regardless of their financial situation. The sliding scale represents the idea that monetary resources like income should not be the only determining factor in whether or not someone can access services/classes/etc. Take a look at the green bottles image in the product images to help determine where you fall on the sliding scale (image created & shared freely by Alexis J. Cunningfolk).

    • $30 is the Pay-It-Forward price. The extra money goes towards supporting scholarships as well as future free and low-cost classes. Essentially it's an opportunity to not only purchase the class but also support your fellow community members while you're at it.

    • $20 is the sacrifice price. It is for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little-to-no expendable income. Paying for this class may qualify as a sacrifice but it would not create hardship. For those that need to purchase at this price, a payment plan is available. Conact me directly at to discuss details.

    • $10 is the hardship price. It is for those who struggle to meet basic needs and paying for this class would still be a significant hardship. This will be based on community support from the pay it forward price point. For those that need to purchase at this price, a payment plan is available. Conact me directly at to discuss details.

Please be mindful that if you purchase a price at the lowest end of the scale when you can truthfully afford the higher ticket prices, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility.

Being honest with yourself and your financial situation when engaging with sliding scale practices grows strong and sustainable communities. It also respects the work of teachers and creators, like myself, who have families to support and bills to pay. Additionally, when I am paid fairly, I am able to invest more time and resources to free and lower cost offerings.
