Traditional bush bean but with purple pods. It makes it easier to spot and harvest them. The purple color is also a natural blanching indicator, when they turn green the beans are ready! The do have a bit of a sprawling habit and with climb just a bit if given the opportunity. I have found this variety tends to have more issues with fungal disease so I usually just do a couple plants to mix in for blanching indicator purposes.

Beautiful, early plants. First ones to start producing baby beans. By far the best-performing of the three bush bean varieties I'm growing.
