A long lived perennial shrub that gets to 6 foot and makes an excellent hedge. Flower colors range from pale magenta or rose to light purple, with deeper shades at the base and dark purple centers and last a day. Larval host of butterflies and moths. Attracts butterflies and native bees (including the Rose-mallow Bee which is a Hibiscus specialist), beetles, etc.
