Bibb heading lettuce. Red speckled leaves grow more vibrant with cooler weather and more mature leaves. Allow it to grow into a crisp tight head. All lettuces here prefers some afternoon shade especially in fall and spring for best flavor. Performs better than buttercrunch in the heat yet still manages to do good in cold weather too. One of my favorite varieties to grow for looks and flavor.
Packet: 400-600 seeds.
