Tall, 4-6’ plants are best staked, caged, or pruned. Vines can be allowed to skim the ground if desired. Berries average 1-1/2” in diameter and are pale yellow-green when ripe. Husks are easy to remove and fruits are of excellent quality. Tomate Verde adds a unique sweet-sour flavor to Mexican dishes. 95 days.

Some of the seed is saved from myself and other small local growers for harder to source varieties that you can't find online.
The majority of the seed varieties will come from dedicated seed supply companies like Working Food or Southern Exposure Seed Exchange to keep up with demand. We always prioritize localized seed sources which have a sustainable and equitable business model.
