Paul Kroll Jr with PK Biochar wil be teaching a biochar workshop at The Urban Harvests Homestead in St. Petersburg. Join us to learn how to easily make biochar in your backyard and on a small scale. We will discuss why biochar is one of the best soil amendment for Florida soils and the many ways it improves your permaculture systems.
Bring a 5 gallon bucket to take some of the biochar home with you ($25 value in biochar)!
This will be a hands on workshop so please tie back long hair and wear closed toed shoes. The yard is semi shaded but dress to be outdoors and bring water to stay hydrated.
We are offering this course on a sliding price scale so that everyone is able to access this resource regardless of their financial situation. The sliding scale represents the idea that monetary resources like income should not be the only determining factor in whether or not someone can access services/classes/etc. Take a look at the green bottles image in the product images to help determine where you fall on the sliding scale (image created & shared freely by Alexis J.
