Red Torch Tithonia

The annual version of the permaculture plant called tithonia, this is Tithonia rotundifolia. The large red blooms are absolute magnets for butterflies as the sturdy stem is able to support them landing. Will turn into small shrubs so give them room and will bloom more if you dead head. Will reseed itself if allowed.
