Solanum lycopersicum. Anahu Tomato is a historically significant, compact determinate variety developed by Dr. Jim Gilbert at the University of Hawaii to conquer challenging, steamy growing conditions. Maturing in 75 to 80 days, these resilient plants yield heavy, dependable crops of 5- to 8-ounce, smooth red round fruits with a delightfully sweet flavor.
Groundbreaking for its built-in resistance to root-knot nematodes, fusarium wilt, gray leaf spot, spotted wilt virus, and tobacco mosaic virus. Anahu excels in heat and humidity, making it a reliable choice for containers and hot-climate home gardens.
