Ashworth Corn

Corn is not one of the easiest crops to grow here due to the pest pressures and fertilizer needs. You also need considerable space since they reach 5 foot in height. They must be planted in blocks for wind pollination so at a bare minimum you want a 4 plant by 4 plant square. That said, this is the variety that is well adapted to home garden conditions and you should get two ears of yellow corn per stalk.
