Early Moonbeam Watermelon

A yellow fleshed watermelon that is roughly 5 pounds making it perfect for a single use rather than overwhelm with too much melon to eat in too short of a time. This is a short vine type making it ideal for small space growers. Trellis for increased airflow to minimize disease issues. No need to support the fruit, they will hang on the vine until ready to eat. I like to wrap the stems in foil to prevent squash vine borers. Harvest when the tendril opposite the melon is completely brown to the main stem.
