Solanum lycopersicum. ESA (Early Ssubakus Aliana) Tomato is an exceptional yellow salad and paste heirloom collected from Beijing, China, in 1931 that excels in hot, humid growing conditions. Maturing on rampant, heavy-yielding indeterminate vines, this variety produces bumper crops of bright canary-yellow cherry tomatoes with a sweet, lemony flavor and dense flesh.
Known for its remarkable heat tolerance and excellent shelf life, ESA keeps producing clean, blemish-free fruit well into late season as other varieties decline. Its vigorous vines perform best with a sturdy trellis, making it an ideal, dependable choice for fresh eating, vibrant yellow sauces, and long harvest windows.
