The famous wild Florida tomato - was actually likely brought here by Spanish explorers so its not actually native. That said it has naturalized in south Florida and now grows "wild". Very vigorous growth (even in the heat of summer when other tomatoes call it quits). These are small currant type tomatoes with incredible flavor. Allow the indeterminate plants to sprawl across the ground rather than caging them, they much prefer that. If growing into our summer months plant in a location with part shade (not full dense shade) for extended production. Some salt tolerance which is unusual for tomato plants. These tend to have a longer germination than other tomatoes, sometimes taking up to a month to germinate so plan accordingly.

Packet: ~35 seeds

Good to start from seed in these months:

North Florida: January-February, July-August

Central Florida: January-February, August-September

South Florida: January, August-November
