Lemon Balm

A perennial herb in the mint family that grows as a bushy, leafy herb with a pleasant lemon smell. Similiar growth habit to mint so its best to keep it in its own container, will spread via rhizomes. Short lived perennial if offered shade over the summer. Amazing for tea (I like to brew mine with some tulsi basil and moringa).

Good to start from seed in these months:

North Florida: February-May, September-November 

Central Florida: January-May, September-December

South Florida: January-May, September-December
