Thai Soldier Long Bean

One of the most productive beans for the summer. They say it is a long bean but I have found them to be a "traditional" green bean length. These plants are so productive I only need 2 to keep my family in beans for the year. Its a vigourous vine so give it something sturdy to climb. They can get a bit tough if you don't harvest them young so pick freely! Pods have unique and beautiful purple tiger stripes that mostly fade with cooking. Handles canning well.
