Smaller radish as far as daikon radish are concerned and take around 2 months instead of 3. These are green on the exterior and vibrant pink in the center, hence the name watermelon radish. Thinning and regular watering is essential for radishes or they will never form a edible root. You can always eat the thinning's as microgreens! Radish tops are also edible and a good arugula like substitution.
